A recent project we completed at St. Ives is shown above. Modernising the style of a kitchen and laundry from the 1970s. A significant change was creating an island. It added extra seating areas, such as a breakfast table. The location of the microwave oven combined with the exhaust from the island's downdrafts created a magnificent effect. A notable difference was the elegance of the wine rack at the end of the island. The addition of a decorative wall in place of the sliding door between the kitchen and laundry room is another suggestion that shouldn't be disregarded. Combining them with dual Oven, side-by-side fridge, various drawers and roomy cabinet finished a pleased owner with a modern kitchen.
